Rope, 2012, 9 x 12 in. acrylic on aluminum (studio). Part of the process of making these, actually a set of 4, included videoing the stages in studio production. The video entitled Tap Water was shot in my night studio, in a domestic situation. The resulting sounds that can be heard are part of this domestic early morning or after hours production. The video was part of Never Underestimate A Monochrome, organized by Mariángeles Soto-Díaz in a collaborative partnership with the University of Iowa Museum of Art.
